Epsom Salt, also known as magnesium sulfate, is a naturally occurring chemical compound composed of magnesium, sulfur, and oxygen. Although it looks similar to table salt, it is not for consumption. Instead, it is commonly dissolved in warm water for soaking or used in skincare products.
How to Use:
- Bath Soak: Dissolve 1–2 cups of Epsom salt in warm bathwater. Soak for 15–20 minutes to relax muscles, ease soreness, and support detoxification.
- Foot Soak: Add 1/2 cup of Epsom salt to a basin of warm water. Soak feet for about 15 minutes to reduce swelling, neutralize odor, and soothe the skin.
- Body Scrub: Mix Epsom salt with carrier oils (or your favorite essential oils) to create a natural exfoliating scrub. Gently massage onto damp skin, then rinse thoroughly.
Benefits:

- Reduces swelling, odor, and soothes irritated feet
- Aids detoxification through the skin when used in bath soaks
